If you have applied to Accounting and Financial Management, Architecture, or any program in the Faculty of Engineering or Faculty of Mathematics, you will need to complete the Courses section of the AIF. This page is a snap-shot of your grade information available when you are completing your AIF. You will not need to update or make an amendment to your AIF once you receive final grades. OUAC grades for 101 applicants and transcripts for 105 applicants will be reviewed by the Admissions Committee, along with the AIF, to have a complete picture of each applicant. It may take some time to complete this page so remember to SAVE frequently. For Question 1, enter details about grade 12 or equivalent courses you are taking during the current school year. The Course Name column has an 8-character limit. If the name of your course is longer than 8-characters, use an abbreviation. For example, for a Chemistry course, enter the course name as Chem (C-H-E-M). For the Level column, enter the appropriate level for your course based on your curriculum. For example, Ontario high school students taking Calculus and Vectors, MCV4U, would enter U as the level. If you are taking an IB, AP or A-Level course, enter IB, AP or AL in the level column. For the Completion Date, enter the date you completed your course or the expected date of completion. The charts also include a series of check-boxes for the types of schools where your courses were completed. For example, if you took an online course in summer school, check both the Summer School and Distance Education / Online boxes. If you took an online course during the school year, check the Distance Education / Online box. You only need to check a box if it is applicable to the course. If you are currently taking a course, enter IP (for in-progress) in the Course Mark column. If you have completed your course, enter the final grade. You do not need to enter mid-term grades. Enter your grades in your courses as they are listed on your transcript. Do not attempt to convert your grades from one curriculum to another. Here are some examples of courses following different curriculums. For Question 2, enter details about grade 12 or equivalent courses that you took prior to the current school year. For example, if you took a grade 12 course during your grade 11 year, enter the information about that course in this question. Include the final grade you received in the course. If you are not currently attending high school, CEGEP or equivalent, ignore the year headings in the chart and list courses that are relevant to our admissions requirements. Then, ensure that you complete Question 3 – Additional Courses Information. For Questions 4, 5 and 6, enter information if applicable. For example, if you have repeated a course or you have taken a course outside of your day school, please complete the appropriate question. This information will be taken into consideration by the Admissions Committee when reviewing your application. If any of Questions 4, 5 or 6 do not apply to you, leave them blank or enter “Not applicable”. Remember, the Admissions Committee WILL NOT be able to review your AIF until you have saved AND SUBMITTED ALL sections.
